What if you could grab your paints, explore the sun-drenched, vine-covered Tuscan hills, breathe in the culture, the food, the wine, hear the music, the gorgeous language, and have a seasoned artist teach you how to achieve vibrant color, loosen your brushwork, and find joy and excitement in your work again…all from the comfort of your home. At your own pace. With a group of like-minded artists supporting you along the journey?
Maybe you’d call that too good to be true. Maybe you’d even call it a dream experience.
Artist Dreama Tolle Perry was the very first to offer adventure-style painting courses (the first taking place in Provence!) and now she’s bringing you to Italy. As soon as you register you will be able login immediately and access all of the course content. You can work through at your own pace, in your own space! Course content will be available to you for one year!
Designed for varying levels of experience, this adventure will be released over six creatively-infused modules and goes way beyond a ‘how to’ painting course; immersing you in the adventure, inspiration, energy, and creativity that is Tuscany.

Am I allowed to put myself as a course feature? I say yes. In addition to the technical teaching I provide, I offer helpful, heart-full advice from artist to artist. We all struggle with the ‘not good enough’ monster that lurks when we have the courage to create. For many of us we feel we ‘started too late in life’ or ‘don’t have enough talent to be a real artist.’
This self-sabotage and limiting thought pattern spills over into our art and I’m all about beauty and joy, not fear or failure. We’re not into strict do’s and don’ts or critiques or rights and wrongs. I want you to feel excitement in the doing and not just the finishing. I want you to embrace the present moment and feel encouraged and inspired to continue.
Benvenuto—Welcome to Tuscany! Lots of delicious things planned for you in week one. Gelato galore and a village sounding like a fairytale on the lips—Castellina in Chianti. Breakaways and takeaways, travel postcards, your own playlist for Italy, a little Italiano spoken and 3 paintings makes for a very full week—delightful!
Let’s take some winding walks down the streets of Montefioralle. How about a visit to the Monday market that’s been open every week since the 12th century? Ooh, or the enduring beauty of a winery just outside the hilltop village. Even better: ALL OF THEM. Yes, this is all part of our adventure this week: flower pots almost as big as you, filled with the heat-loving flowers of Tuscany await our paint brushes! Fun things waiting on you in our aptly named Mama Mia section will have you thinking, eating, and speaking Italian. Of course we have more bonus pics for you and some words of inspiration to stir you in all the right ways.
Did someone say take a ride? There’s nothing like driving through the hills of Tuscany on a mission to find the most deliciously paintable casa. This week you can check that off your bucket list! It’s so handsome we may paint it twice (once in oil and my watercolor journal makes a brief, but oh so fun, cameo appearance!) Can’t think of a better ending to a day than eating homemade pizza at an Italian family home—so that is just what we do. Yummy recipes, juicy painting, and wonderful Italian pinups for your creative space. And did I mention bonus photos of Italy for you to paint? All Italy, all for you!
Slip inside the daily life of Tuscany this week. From puppet-making olive growers to an old Italian home that has been in the same family for…ever, we touch the very spirit of what makes Tuscany so special! A town filled with towers from the 12th century and laundry furled above open windows that begs to be painted. So of course we do just that! More immersing in the sweet life with quiet time videos, more travel postcard entries and more enchanting photos of Italy that are yours to paint!
Mama mia, we do love to paint a field of sunflowers under the hot Tuscan sun! On the way there, we sneak a peek at Mona Lisa’s house and a medieval city set amidst the sweeping hills of Tuscany. Learn a little Italian, paint a landscape, daydream….repeat! Bonus photos this week include roses blooming in vine laden fields but you didn’t hear that from me…;-)
A weaving of past and present comes to life at every turn in Tuscany. Vistas of wine slopes are in view as we travel winding roads. Our meandering stroll down narrow village streets provide the perfect things to paint! You’ll get: postcard prompts to get your creative side talking, Italian quotes for you to print out, and more bonus photos for you to paint! Did I mention that this week there will also be a bonus painting that might involve some whiskers and fur? Meow!! Two paintings, bonus photos and plenty of time to immerse yourself in Italy. La dolce vita. It IS the sweet life!
Fun math: This boils down to a little under a buck a day to have Tuscany and yours truly at your fingertips (and brush tips) for one year! Note: The cost of live domestic workshops + airfare, hotel, car rental, and food makes it easy to drop > $2k on a few days study (and if you are heading out of the country, it’s more like > $5k. As incredible as that can be, it’s not feasible for everyone...and you also can’t go back and rewind and rewatch for one full year ;)
This is not simply a "painting Course" !!!! it's a totally remarkable experience for any level ( literally true beginner to advanced). You will learn more than painting skills as Dreama's approach is a 360 degree view of the artists: goals, music, cooking recipes, ideas, advice, inspiration, humor, travels etc. Dreama works her magic and you gain a wonderful group of supportive fellow artists as you share the class together. Well worth the price - I can't wait for her next Course to begin!!!
